INTRODUCTION
Bill is a Certified Practitioner Coach. His areas of expertise include Executive and Senior Management Coaching, Business, Operations and Project Management and Leadership Development. He also lectures at Wits Business School in selected certificate programmes.
COACHING EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
He is an accredited facilitator with Worldsview Academy and The Human Edge on all their respective programmes.
Bill enjoys “enabling high quality conversations” between people or within themselves. He enjoys reading, time with family, with friends, in the bush and playing golf. He is also Chairman of St Martin’s School Governing Council.
About 10 years ago he started acquiring a range of new experiences and skills in “people” development. These skills included Executive/ Management Coaching as well as Facilitation of several programmes in leadership and communication skills. The Facilitation includes all Leadership material from Worldsview (www.worldsviewacademy.com) and all Conversation and Change programmes from The Human Edge (www.humanedge.co.za).
Previous coaching clients include AVENG, Arcelormittal, SAA-Technical, The House of Busby, Mindcor, SAB Miller, University of Johannesburg, Wits Business School, Barloworld Equipment and Exxarro.
EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE
Bill initially worked in the construction industry and registered as a professional engineer then as a marketing consultant in a small firm as a partner. Thereafter over 20 years he ran several engineering and consulting firms as Managing Director. He gained specific experience in restructuring and repositioning businesses and in new product launches in the construction, telecommunications, electrical and steel industries. Bill is a Rhodes Scholar.
