Danie is passionate about the strategic role of people and culture in the success of organisations. He is committed to facilitating the growth of people and organisations in a significant and sustainable manner. Eleven years into a successful professional career, he made the decision to leave the safety of his role as a partner in a legal firm and do an MBA, which he completed through the Universities of Cape Town and Washington, Seattle. Combining his experience and interest in strategy, business and organisational dynamics and his passion for people, Danie started Strategic Human Capital Consulting in 2007.
Danie is regularly commended for the quality, authenticity and effectiveness of his analysis and the implementation and facilitation of solutions, workshops and coaching.
He is a member of the Worth Ethic Global Network of Coaches and accredited provider of Culture Transformation Tools (Barrett Values Centre) as well as the SDI Personal Strength Inventories.
Some of the work Danie has recently done for clients includes human capital and culture strategy development, team development (and conflict management) workshops, strategy facilitation, performance appraisal systems, employee engagement assessments, team member & team conflict profiling (SDI accreditation), leadership development workshops, coaching, culture transformation and values assessments (Barrett accreditation), and diversity workshops.
Danie is a critical thinker and eager, permanent learner. Things he enjoy include; travelling (art, architecture and foreign places have huge appeal), cycling (“thanks to the Argus cycle race I stay in shape”), and spending time with his wife and sons exploring the most beautiful Cape.
