Executive and Leadership Coach
QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS
INTRODUCTION

I use biofeedback, neuroscience, and mindfulness as tools in my coaching. With these, we can explore emotional intelligence, flexibility, and regulation, so that you can manage both yourself and your relationships and teams better. I also work with personal wellbeing – managing a healthy body, mind, and spirit as part of my fully human approach.

COACHING EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ashika completed a Diploma in Practitioner Coaching with The Coaching Centre in May 2015 where she also served as a mentor to coaching students. She has accumulated between 500 and 1,000 coaching hours and has had the privilege to work with several public sector and private clients such as:

The Competition Commission, Nampak, Nelson Mandela University, Roche Diagnostics, Arcellor- Mittal and The JSE, MBA coach at Johannesburg Business School, HSRC, SAMRC, SAHPRA, Multi-Choice, Genesis Consulting, Direct Axis, Standard Bank, Emergent Consulting, Schneider Electric, Debmarine, UNFPA, Skoda, SAICCA among others, and several private clients locally and internationally.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Ashika has spent over 25 years in the healthcare industry, and passionate about driving the evolution of the corporate wellbeing agenda which is so crucial to driving a healthy corporate culture. She is engaging with several clients in building tailored solutions for well-being at work. She is also Fractional Chief Wellbeing Officer at Emergent Consulting. My philosophy lies in exploring the “fully human” approach for physical energy, mental focus, and emotional connectedness.

My purpose is to be a catalyst for the development of people’s inherent capacity to lead themselves and others by first understanding themselves, and then others. Fostering choice–fulness from awareness and cultivating space for courageous conversations with ourselves and others. I have designed and delivered several well-being programs, workshops and keynotes on corporate and personal well-being

Through a decade of experience in executive roles in the pharmaceutical industry, Ashika also has gained experience in:

  1. Leadership and Strategy
  2. Training and development
  3. Organisational Change Management
  4. Medical Marketing
  5. Communication (Company spokesperson)
  6. Mentorship
  7. Women’s health and leadership

On a personal note:

My husband and I live in Midrand, Johannesburg, with our three sons. I love being outdoors and physically active. My passions are healthy cooking, organic gardening and I personally believe that you should have more books that you can read.

Favourite quote by Wayne W Dyer:

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”
