As a coach, Danelle works with a broad range of clients, from graduates entering the workplace to managing directors. Her coaching includes virtual coaching, face-to-face coaching and team/group coaching. Over the last 12 years, and thousands of coaching hours, she has developed a unique coaching approach that can adapt to the needs and preferences of each client. The heart of her approach is grounded in supporting clients in identifying their current state of being, their future desired state of being and what options are available to move them closer to the latter. Through questioning Danelle assists the client in achieving action steps that are practical and realistic. Clients find her coaching process both challenging and supportive. If necessary Danelle will use the tools she’s qualified in (Insights Discovery, Enneagram and Neurozone) to increase clients’ self-awareness, achieve their goals and arrive at a state of thriving and well-being.
Her broad-ranging and multi-disciplinary experience has resulted in excellent coaching and facilitation skills. Danelle is a highly motivated individual with a “can do” approach to life! She believes that appreciating what you have, adapting to change and recognising the new possibilities are crucial for success and contentment. Danelle has a positive disposition and is an effective communicator in a one-on-one, small group or large group setting.
Danelle lived in London for 10 years during which she was the Head of Psychology at a Secondary School for 7 of those years. As a middle-manager her responsibilities were as diverse as team management, staff development and training, budgeting, completing annual departmental plans, reviews and exams analyses.
Since returning to South Africa in 2009, Danelle has gained organisational experience through coaching and facilitating in small, medium and large organisations home and abroad. Some local companies include the Sanlam Group, Allan Gray, Capitec Bank, Pioneer Foods, Clicks, MWEB, Truworths, Footgear, Ogilvy and PharmaDynamics to name but a few.
Danelle has a B.A. (Hons.) Psychology degree and qualified with distinction as a coach in 2008. She is also a British Qualified Teacher, specialism Psychology. Danelle is a member of the Coaching and Mentoring Association of South Africa (COMENSA) and is accredited in the following tools: Insights Discovery, Enneagram and Neurozone FourCore report. Most recently, Danelle qualified as a Getting Things Done© facilitator.
