Ivor has coached or mentored an array of individuals across the private sector, at senior levels of leadership. His approach is business focused, goal directed and informed by the culture and agreed outcomes of the sponsor organisation.

Ivor combines his many years of experience as an Executive with a Neuroscience coaching approach that enables him to practically assist Executives and leaders throughout the organisation to move forward. He is extremely comfortable coaching at Board Level as this is where he has spent the majority of his career, which gives him instant credibility.

He is a great thinking partner, strategist leadership development specialist. He works with both the individual and the business needs ensuring that at all times that the system within which the individual or team operates is factored in.

He has developed and run many Leadership development programmes and is on many CEO’s speed dial.

Ivor is co-founder of True North Strategy. He holds a BA LLB from UCT. In 1993 Ivor joined RCI Southern Africa in a middle management position and progressed through the organisation to become MD of RCI Southern Africa in 1999 and then CEO of RCI Africa & Pacific in 2003. In 2005, he moved to Singapore where he took on the role of CEO of RCI Asia-Pacific for another 2,5 years.

After 14 years with RCI he left to become CEO of Karma Royal Group, a vertically integrated resort development, sales and management group that was based in Perth, Australia, developing and operating resorts across Asia.

Ivor returned to South Africa in December 2008 and held the position of CEO of Connemara until June 2011.

In late 2011, he started True North Strategy.
