Kavita is a leadership coach and facilitator who empowers leaders to show up with clarity, confidence, and authenticity. With a background in SMME development and executive education, she brings a wealth of insight into the challenges and opportunities facing today’s leaders.

Kavita has been coaching since 2017 and is credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), she has had the privilege of coaching individuals across South Africa, as well as in USA, Europe, India, and other parts of Africa. Her clients span a range of sectors, including education, SMME, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), healthcare, finance, and the non-profit space.

Using an integral coaching approach, Kavita supports leaders in exploring not only their inner world but also how they interact with and influence the external systems around them. By working with the whole person, exploring thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and environment, she helps clients unlock their potential, discover their authentic leadership style, build resilience, and cultivate the self-awareness needed to lead with confidence and purpose.

As a skilled facilitator, Kavita has designed and delivered a wide range of workshops and courses to corporate groups. These include topics such as Positive Mindset, Conscious Communication, Personal Mastery, Self-Leadership, Coaching, Mentoring, Living Values, Enneagram, Emotional Intelligence, and Data Literacy.

Alongside her coaching and facilitation work, Kavita is committed to leadership development. She has inspired individuals at all levels of organisations to grow their leadership capacity by supporting them to manage diversity, become more effective at leading themselves, tame their inner critic, and strengthen both their intra- and interpersonal skills. In addition, she helps people recognise that they matter.

Kavita dedicates herself to supporting, developing and leading individuals and teams. She has more than 15 years of work experience in the telecommunications, SMME development and higher education sectors. She is proficient in finance, project  and operations management as well as training and development.

In 2019, Kavita founded a coaching practice offering leadership coaching and facilitation across various industries.  She integrates her diverse experience to support leaders navigate growth, change, and complexity by helping them gain clarity, build confidence, and reconnect with their purpose.

Committed to the growth of the coaching profession, she served for two years as the Officer for Professional Development at the ICF South Africa Charter Chapter. She contributed to advancing women in leadership through her role on the Leadership Task Team of the Businesswomen’s Association (Gqeberha).

Kavita also served as a judge for the HERS-SA Higher Education Women Leaders Awards which recognises excellence among women in academia and leadership. She continues to contribute to leadership education as an assessor and contract lecturer on the MBA programme at the Nelson Mandela University Business School.
